A title from a handbook released by the British War Office in 1914 caught my attention:
“Careless carriers, contact cases, chiefly cooks, dirty drinking water, the dust of dried dejecta, and the repulsive regurgitation, dangerous droppings, and filthy feet of fecal-feeding flies fouling food”
Now if only I hadn’t already submitted my dissertation title…
